Start saving your money this summer because we are going to NYC. How exciting! WHS Concert Choir has received the invitation to perform, along with other singers from the Triangle and from across the US to perform Joseph Martin's "Song of Wisdom". The work is based on the childrens book "Old Turtle" by Douglas Wood. If you get a chance, check it out from the library or purchase your own copy from you local book store. The trip will cost around $1,000.00 per student including airfare, ground transportation, performance fees and hotel. We will stay 4 nights for rehearsals and the performance with free time to do some sight seeing or take in a broadway show or two. This is an expensive trip, but one you will remember for a life time. Not many people get the chance to perform and this prestigious concert venue.
